Ter triumphalis, ter consularis, cum haberet liberos aeque ter triumphales, ter consulares, suspendit se. Liberatus a liberis, ab iisdem reus fit dementiae.
Translation
A man who had celebrated three triumphs and had been consul three times hung himself, although he had sons who had likewise celebrated three triumphs and had been consul three times. Rescued by his sons, he is brought to trial by the same on the charge of insanity.
