Et ut breviter signem, puto te Quintiliani controversiae recordari, in qua pauper causatur, dolens ob interitum apum, flores ab impotentissimo divite venenatos.

Translation

And to put it briefly, I think you remember Quintilian's "controversia", in which the poor man, grieving the death of his bees, accuses the rich man of having sprinkled his flowers with poison.
