Translation

A man proposed marriage to a girl; the girl’s mother told him that her daughter would die before she could marry him. The girl died with signs of poisoning. Then her father, when torturing the slave-girls, did not hear anything more about the poisoning, but learned of an affair between his wife and the girl’s suitor. He accuses his wife of poisoning.
